To install this routine just copy the files into your 3ds Max plugin directory.


Linked XForn+ is the most basic of skeletal deformation you can get. It is basically a spiffed up version of the Linked XForm modifier. All bones in the system are equally weighted and have a radial influence from the center of the bone. This is a fairly easy modifier to use just apply it and hit the Add button to add bones to the system (NOTE do this in frame 0) and use the Remove button to remove buttons from the system (NOTE do this in frame 0).



Bugs

None but always add and remove bones at frame 0.
Removal of the first bone causes strangeness
Cloning the boned object cause a crash

Weights and Falloff for individual bones
Ellipitical falloff instead of radial
Individual control of each vertices' weight
Output to file of each vertices weight
